AJ is a designer who loves editorial, layout, print media, typography, and video production!
 
My only rule for design: do it by hand or don’t do it at all. I try to infuse analog solutions in all my work. 

My favorite ways to procrastinate: collecting Spider-Man comics and skateboarding.

Risoprinted WE’RE HERE FOR YOU flyers handed out at pop up events listing safe places & events in the area.



[VOLUNTEER] Lanyards for volunteers to wear at events with space to add name and pronouns. 


Screenprinted Merch and Volunteer shirts. The designs calls onto queer and gen z culture with iconography of intertwined heart and star shaped carabiners. The subtle design adheres to the brands goal of pride wear that is safe to wear in any environment. 


Prepackaged handouts for [ATTENDEES] to take home, share with friends, and find their community. Beaded bracelets and carabiners are motifs that are continued throughout the events and branding to connect with our target audience. Safe Space window stickers designed for local business in the area to display and show their support for their LGBTQ+ community.

 
What do the events look like?
Uncommon Ground’s first event was held at AIGA Orlando’s Spot Showcase. Many [ATTENDEES] partcipated in the art exercises and  collected take aways including flyers, bracelets, carabiners, and stickers.
